Breaking the Cycle of Negativity


I am often asked, are you always this positive? Yes. I am. I think I was born this way. So having said that, I believe that there is an inherent disposition to positivity and to negativity. The question becomes, how do we become less negative? Here are some tips:

  • Make a commitment to be more positive

  • Focus on the good, not the bad

  • Positive affirmations are key to positive thinking

  • Accept the situation for exactly what it is, nothing more, nothing less

  • Surround yourself with positive people​​​​​​​

  • Change your perspective on how you view things

  • Look for gratitude. When we are thankful, it’s hard to be negative
