Breaking the Cycle of Negativity
I am often asked, are you always this positive? Yes. I am. I think I was born this way. So having said that, I believe that there is an inherent disposition to positivity and to negativity. The question becomes, how do we become less negative? Here are some tips:
Make a commitment to be more positive
Focus on the good, not the bad
Positive affirmations are key to positive thinking
Accept the situation for exactly what it is, nothing more, nothing less
Surround yourself with positive people
Change your perspective on how you view things
Look for gratitude. When we are thankful, it’s hard to be negative
